One ship with quaking sails
Travels straight by the coil
Destined for the flight.
All sea life hums in unison
The siren song for love
For ports of welcoming homes
Pin lights beckoning

Auburn hair aglow with sparkles
Fins billowing in twilight.
Gently the map rips
In sleep and in crisis
The way will never be known
Never thread to distant points
Or ever stow away back home.
The captain’s dream
Now with England far behind
Torments him to new sands
And us along to each romance
Each mellow harbor’s rapture
To win back God’s love
Like the butterfly’s final dance.
